Policy worded by Kisha Mclean
At SOS Pride society we wish to create an inclusive and safe space for our staff & participants at all of our events.
To this end we respectfully request:
Costumes should not include black/brown face, or religious symbols that do not belong to you.
We encourage gender expression without bounds, as long as it is tasteful and respectful to the Trans community (ie; expression should not be done as a joke or in a mocking sense).
if you have any questions about the appropriateness of your costume?
Contact us and we will help! email@example.com

This book club is designed to facilitate a better understanding of the LGBTQ2S+ community by introducing reading and visual material to our own community and our allies so that we have an opportunity to understand ourselves and the worlds we live in.
We hope to broaden emotional, intellectual and social horizons by choosing material that challenges all of our preconceptions and educates while entertaining us.
Every month the book club will choose a subject or a particular book and then have a lively and engaging discussion on that particular topic using relevant issues from the book chosen.
Due to Safety and sensitivity we require registration to this club and ask that all members participate in a respectful and kind manor during open discussion.
To Register, look for the event in the SOS Pride “upcoming events” page or at the Penticton public Library, attention:
